Our Journey

Loom Gardens began with a simple but ambitious idea: to make nature part of interior design. What started as an engineering experiment quickly evolved into a new category, a living work of art that brings natural beauty into modern spaces.

Our founder, Tyler Casper, saw an opportunity to merge technology, design, and sustainability into one seamless experience. That vision became the Art Garden, a hydroponic picture frame that grows real plants while elevating the aesthetic of any room.

Tyler was soon joined by Ryan Wold, who brought expertise in business operations and product strategy to ensure the Art Garden could be brought to market. Tony Giovannelli, our Software Lead, developed the intuitive software behind the frame, making it effortless to grow plants without clutter or complexity. Most recently, Tofa McCormick joined as Marketing Director, helping shape the brand’s voice around design-first living with natural beauty at its core.

At Loom Gardens, we’re reimagining what interior design can be: alive, elegant, and effortless.

Our Journey So Far

2022

Redefining Hydroponics

What began as wires and raw ambition quickly turned into an obsession with what’s possible. We weren’t just building systems, we were challenging every assumption about how food could grow at home.

2023

Brainstorming Packaging Solutions

Tucked inside a cooler and surrounded by cables, we asked the big question: “What if your garden didn’t look like a garden?” These early experiments sparked the idea that would one day become Art Garden.

2024

"Van Grow" (Art Garden V1)

Our first attempt at combining design and function. Wall-mounted and full of potential, this version proved we were on the right path, just not there yet. Beauty and biology still needed a better frame.

2024+

"Fresh Frame" (Art Garden V2)

This was the moment things clicked. When hydroponics met high design, the result was more than functional, it was inspiring. The Fresh Frame was our first true prototype, and for the first time, it felt like us.

2025

Art Garden V3 Hits The Market

Countless iterations. Dozens of plants. Hundreds of hours. It all led to this, a finished product that lives and breathes like a masterpiece. Our hope? That you see the frame as much a work of art as the canvas it holds.
